Saman Halgamuge, Fellow of IEEE, IET, AAIA, and NASSL is a Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Electrical, Mechanical and Infrastructure Engineering. He is a distinguished lecturer/speaker/visitor appointed by: IEEE Computer Society (2024-26) and IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (2019-21) and a member of IEEE Fellow selection panel (2024-25). He served as Director/Head, Research School of Engineering of the Australian National University (ANU) (2016-18), a member of Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts (2016-18), the founding Director of the PhD training centre Melbourne India Postgraduate Academy (MIPA/MIPP) of University of Melbourne and Associate Dean (2013-15) and Assistant Dean (2008-13) in International Engagement in Engineering and IT. He also served as the Visiting DVC (Research and Global Engagement) of SLIIT (2023-25). SLIIT is a well ranked partner University in Asia for TNE programs for UK, Australian and Canadian universities and the largest University in Sri Lanka.

Wadii Boulila (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in computer science from the Aviation School of Borj El Amri in 2005, the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), University of Manouba, Tunisia, in 2007, and the joint Ph.D. degree in computer science from ENSI and Télécom Bretagne, University of Rennes 1, France, in 2012. He is currently a Professor of computer science and the Director of the RIOTU Laboratory, Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He was also as a Senior Researcher with the RIADI Laboratory, University of Manouba. Previously, he has held the position of a Senior Research Fellow with the ITI Department, University of Rennes 1. He has actively contributed to several research and industrial projects, with primary research interests spanning data science, computer vision, big data analytics, deep learning, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and uncertainty modeling. He is member of ACM and AAAI and a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) in the U.K. He was a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Best Young Researcher in Computer Science Award from Beit El-Hikma in 2021, the Best Researcher Award from the University of Manouba in 2021, the Most Cited Researcher Award from the University of Manouba in 2022, the Research Excellence Award, and the Best Faculty Member for Most impactful Research Output Award from Prince Sultan University. He has served as the chair, a reviewer, and a technical program committee (TPC) member for many leading international conferences and journals. His work has garnered global recognition, and he has been named among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in his field by Stanford University.
